When Evony sends out a message like the one above, two servers are about to become one. It can be exciting and scary at the same time, but the FAQ below should answer any questions you might have. If it doesn't, feel free to ask in the comment section!
Q: Why do servers merge?
A: Generally, when player activity or spending drop in a server, these tend to trigger a server merge.
Q: How does Evony pick which servers merge?
A: It's based on their secret criteria, but generally after a year or so you can expect the potential of a merge.
Q: If we've merged before can we merge again?
A: Yes, some servers were formerly 3 separate servers.
Q: Where do my sub cities go?
A: The higher SvS ranking keeps their original sub-city locations and the other server's subs are randomly spread across the map.
Q: What does my server number become?
A: The higher SvS ranking keeps their server number.
Q: Where does my alliance go?
A: Buildings are removed but the alliance will remain intact.All players are randomly teleported across the new map.
Q: Where do my bookmarks go?
A: All bookmarks are deleted.
Q: Where do my troops go?
A: All troops outside cities are automatically returned to the cities.
Q: What happens to my SvS server ranking?
A: The higher ranking server will retain the ranking.
Q: What happens to my rank ranking?
A: Your new rank will be determined based on the combined rankings of both servers.

A: You will need to get king wings again to open Wonder 2
Tips for Surviving a Server Merge
- Scout out a spot to place your alliance city early
- Communicate with the other alliances on your server and new server to see what the environment is
- Bubble up and get ready for a potential battle
